Mt. Dew Freak by LadyRavenhawk Mt. Dew Freak by LadyRavenhawk
There's a story behind this. My husband has been saving those buy one get one free caps for awhile. He saved up 29 of them. So the other night, he and Emilie went to the gas station and cashed in all of the caps and came home with 58 bottles of Mt. Dew. It was ridiculous. He was so excited, he asked my friends to model with his bottles of Mt. Dew so he could always remember this. So here's Loretta sitting on 58 bottles of Mt. Dew. My refrigerator's working overtime... LOL!!

By the way, we do not own, nor are we affiliated or endorsed by Mt. Dew in any way, shape or form. Nor are we receiving any profit from this photoshoot. Just wanted to make that clear.

This is awesome haha.
Thats a true saving warrior.
Does he go crazy about coupons as well? :D

Not so much about coupons. However, he will take ANYTHING that is free. Anything. The guys at the shop used to make fun of him - "Bag of dead rats? It's free? I'll take it!....... Might come in handy."
He's now convinced one of my best friends to go dumpster diving.
Although, I must give credit where it's due - he does come up with some pretty cool shit. LOL!

Hahaha I went dumbster diving before.
Some department stores throw out some good stuff that still works but is missing a simple part.
My mom still has a Christmas clock that was simply missing the battery compartment that I gave her.
I found it in the dumpster :P
We also have a one armed santa that makes noise.
He's missing an arm.
We just tucked it in his pocket lol.
Great stuff.

The most recent of the "treasures" he's brought home, I decided to keep for myself. It's the posts from an old wrought-iron porch railing. They're covered in iron roses and it's absolutely beautiful. I can't believe people throw that stuff out. So I'm keeping it and it's going in my art studio upstairs once I get that room cleaned out.
Department stores, huh? I may have to check that out....
Oh god, I can see it now. Now **I** will be the one dragging shit home. God save us all....
